Sat Nam,
Hello,
Since 1993 I practice Kundalini Yoga. This technique has so transformed my life that I want to share it with you.
The only thing to do is to start doing the few exercises.
Because that is what it is all about. By the time I took my first class my life was a nightmare. That’s the first step I took: stop and tell myself I couldn’t go on like this. I could no longer say that it was the fault of bad luck or the fault of others. Obviously something was wrong with me, nothing was going right! It is from this moment that I can say that I was guided, completely guided, and that I landed at a Kundalini Yoga class.
After ten minutes I wondered what I was doing there, having always been quite athletic, this kind of gymnastics, I could do it at home. A little voice, the famous little inner voice, shouted so loud that I could not ignore it. I wanted to leave immediately, she enjoined me to stay at least until the end of the hour.
The teacher then began to explain: “We are going to do an exercise for the chakra of the heart which is related to the element air, to thoughts, to anxieties, but also to feelings of love. “Gee, but she’s talking to me! She’s talking about my story! “I was the photographer of an artistic team in charge of making a male character on Mount Aconcagua, which culminates at 7000m.
I collapsed for lack of air at 4 800m where the team realized the heart. I had decided to begin this journey following a breakup in love. “Damn it! Life must have some magical meaning I’ve never seen before. “For me I had stopped at 4 800m having almost died. Period. But no, there was a correlation between the facts, a symbolism that I did not know. I started to do the exercises without looking at the neighbour and by getting fully involved. I came out of the course completely different, lighter, joyful and full of energy. Yes, there must really be something magical here! I have to keep going!
A few years of practice after, adventures, debris and joy after, I am still practicing. The path is never finished, it is immensely rich. Today, I have a harmonious, peaceful, rich, joyful life. Yes, I can say that loud and clear. Life remains life with its hard blows and its easier moments but I have learned in my heart that every difficulty is an opportunity, a blessing offered by life, to make me grow, to teach me something about myself. The practice of Kundalini Yoga has allowed me to develop the courage, perseverance and endurance necessary to reach my highest potential.
This site is an opportunity to share with you an approach, a path. You will find texts about my history and yoga classes to practice. My history is rich, certainly like everyone’s history. I want to share it with you because I am sure many of you will recognize each other. I hope you will share your story too. I went through many paths, I sometimes wondered why, it seemed to me that I was good at doing all the wrong things in the world and following all the wrong roads. Today I know it’s to serve better. On this sometimes difficult road it is good to feel accompanied, to see that someone else has been there, to understand the why of things and always glimpse hope, to feel encouraged.
I wish you a good navigation, a good practice and all the best for your life. Never lose hope, trust and keep going!
The practice of Kundalini Yoga is exceptional. It is extremely complete, it is varied, there is something for all tastes, all genres, all ages! So cheer up…Get in the dance!
